Ribbon Plant is also known as spider plant, due to the clusters of babies it produces at the ends of thread like growth. The variety commonly grown inside is the variegated one, which has a small white flower.There are also dwarf and curly forms to look out for. They are perfect for shelving, hanging baskets, and outside in the garden for edging, retaining walls, and embankments in shady areas.
Ribbon plant is native to the same family as asparagus, and is also useful for kokedama balls.
